Few hours after the residents of Osino in the Fanteakwa South District in the eastern region reacted to the poor state of the road that links Osino -Saamang, there have been some results.
A mining in the district that plies the said stretch, BSD Mining Services immediately moved their equipments to the road to begin reshaping it.
While people are applauding them, some believe it is long over due.
However, the residents believe registering their displeasure through blocking the road has yielded a result.
“You see they have responded just some few minutes after we blocked the road? They know they can do this so why did they wait till now? Anyway, we will allow the heavy tipper trucks in the day but certainly not in the night’ – Aggrieved resident expressed.
They have been objecting to companies using heavy duty machines on the road but are not showing any interest in developing it.
