Enthusiastic Ghanaian visual artist, Panka Abubakar Shediq of the multidisciplinary art corporation headquartered in the Upper East Region of Ghana, Panka ArtStudio has named a 10-member team who will be working collaboratively and assiduously to ensure the success of this year’s edition of his artistic festival dubbed “My Art Gallery Exhibition”.
The goal of My Art Gallery Exhibition “MAGE” is to provide a distinctive platform for aspiring visual artists, creative investors, art admirers, art collectors, curators, and museums annually to display their works of art, according to him.
Artists and art lovers in and outside the region are set to witness another turn of the second edition of the event. The maiden edition was held in December 2021 at Blue Sky in Bolgatanga.
The event was organized under the auspices of the ministry of art and tourism and recorded gracious attendance of key cultural and notable artistry personalities across the country.
“Today we celebrated the success of an
innovative and pioneering artistic experience that blended historical and heritage art with modern and contemporary art. This has always been my wish and is grateful we are here” part of his speech at the maiden edition read.
Attendees of the maiden event encouraged the ministry to support artists of this kind who are practically showing interest in using their creativity to make an enormous positive impact on the society, and artistry also being the graphical and symbolic way of preserving our rich cultural heritage.
With This year’s edition themed: Art Inspired By Artist, the event is scheduled for Friday, December 23, 2022 at the Akayet Hotel located in Bolgatanga, along the Bolgatanga-Navrongo highway.
