Massive Reactions As UTV Ghana Drops Coach Otto Addo’s Black Stars Squad

UTV Ghana has posted on its heavily Facebook platform Black Star Coach Otto Addo’s 29-man squad.

The list of players named by the senior national team coach would play against Brazil and Nicaragua in upcoming friendly matches ahead of Qatar World Cup.

Interestingly, the squad had some foreign-based players who would be playing in the Black Stars team for the first time.

Those foreign-based players who will be featuring for the first time include the likes of Inaki Williams, Tariq Lamptey, Mohammed Salisu, Stephen Ambrosius and Ransford Yeboah.

Despite public speculations, Patric Pfeiffer was not named in the squad. What might be the reason?

The post by UTV has attracted massive reactions from the length and width of the country.

Whilst some football fans complained about the presence of some players in the squad, other concerned fans complained about the absence of some players.

What are your thoughts on the ongoing discussion? Do you think the 29-man squad would make a significant impact in the World Cup scheduled for November 2022?
