Dr Stephen Ayisi Gyan, the Chief Executive Officer of Laud Balm has has donated sporting materials to the Ghana Education Service Directorate of Fanteakwa South in the eastern region.
He made this donation to assist the district which he hails from prepare very well for the upcoming regional games in the regional capital, Koforidua.
The items donated include customized sets of jerseys, Volleyballs and footballs.
Dr Stephen Gyan, affectionately called in the district as Show Boy appealed to the well meaning residents and citizenry of Fanteakwa South district to also come to the aid of future leaders off they have the means.
“I make these donations to assist our future leaders get more resourced ahead of their regional games. I hail from the district and schooled there. Their progress is a progress to us all. So I’m giving them these sets of jerseys, volleyballs and footballs to support their training and eventually go and win the ultimate in the region. I also task my colleagues who have the means to come to the aid of these young ones” – Dr Gyan said
The said items were received on behalf of the service by the district sports coordinator, Mr Eric Bosompem, known very well in the district as Sir Power.
Sir Power, thanked him for his benevolence and assured him that the district will put in all the necessary efforts to win the ultimate but like Oliver Twist, asked that he continually opens hiss door to them anytime they call on him.
Dr Gyan is noted for committing his widows mite for the development of the youth since this happens not to be his only contribution or commitment in the education sector of the district.
