A newly-built bridge collapsed during commissioning suggesting that the contractors had not done their job diligently.
The bridge collapsed immediately after the ribbon was cut leading some to sarcastically say the ribbon was holding the whole bridge up.

Although we could not ascertain the date when the video was shot, the Lilanga language being spoken suggests the incident happened in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
A viral video has been making rounds online which shows the moment the br¡dge collapsed while being commissioned by some dignitaries.
The video footage captured the moment the dignitaries scampered to their safety the moment they realized the br¡dge was collapsing as the stood on it to commission it.
