News coming in indicates that Aisha Huang, a Chinese woman has been rearrested in Ghana after reports found out that she is involved in galamsey activities in the country.

Reports from TV3 Ghana indicate that the woman came into the country through the land boarders. She attained a Togo Visa and sneaked into the country through our boarders to continue her galamsey business.

In 2018, Aisha Huang was deported from Ghana to China for doing illegal mining in the country. Few years down the line, she is back to do the same business that led to her deportation. The Circuit Court has remanded her pending another court trial.

Some Ghanaians have reacted to this and below are some reactions.

From the reactions above, some Ghanaians have created some suspicions in the Ghana Immigration Service. This is because they failed to do their job well. Others alleged that the woman may have paid some monies to some officials that gave her the opportunity to do galamsey in Ghana.

The fight against illegal mining in Ghana has always been the fight of the president. Some chiefs in Ghana have been blamed for giving their lands to foreigners or people to mine on it. Waters bodies are always destroyed after these illegal activities.
