The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMA) as a matter of urgency releases the day-to-day weather forecast today for the general perusal.
As at 6 a.m. this morning, 5th September, 2022. The agency mandated to caution the public on weather conditions says there will be cloudiness in most of the country with severe and pockets of showers of rains in other parts of the country in this early hours.
Southern Ghana as at the release of this reports have certain places experiencing rainfall.
In this early hours, areas covering Kasoa, Accra, Cape Coast, Takoradi, Kumasi are likely to see rainfall.
In as much as such places down-south are entrapped with rains, same areas are to have a misty and fog conditions.
For instance, Ho, Axim, Koforidua, Sefwi Bekwai, Tarkwa, with only Akim Oda seeing foggy conditions today.
As the day unfolds, we’re likely to see places around the coastal areas getting cloudy in the afternoon.
Later in the evening down south will continue to experience same cloudiness with intermittent showers of rains with thunderstorms.
This pegged the average temperature in the south at 22 degrees.
Further, middle part of Ghana will see areas as Goaso, Kete Krachi and its environs to see intermittent rains and foggy.
Additionally, Up-North of Ghana is expected to see showers of rains with few cases of thunderstorms occurring in essential cities.
These conditions varies this morning in the North.
While Damongo, Bolgatanga, and Nalerigu sees cloudy conditions, Yendi, Bole, Tamale, Wa and other towns will experience rainfall.
The afternoon parts of these cities are likely to see heavy rains with few cases of thunderstorms.
Importantly, in the late hours, we’re expecting to enjoy cloudiness.
This puts the average temperature to 22, 30 and 29 in the northern sector.
