Ghana champions Asante Kotoko has announced the signing of Algerian Boudjadi Nazim Mohammed Islam as a new member of their technical team.
The Algerian, will assume the role of video analyst for the Porcupines who will look to compete on all fronts next season as they target more silverware.
The new video analyst, would be expected to bring his vast knowledge in this area to the Asante Kotoko team in their preparations for their games.
He will also be a boost to the technical team of the club headed by Seydou Zerbo with the former Burkina Faso national team coach now in charge of the record Ghana champions.
The technical team has work to do immediately as they go into competitive action on Friday.
Asante Kotoko will travel to the Ivory Coast to play champions of Burkina Faso Rail Club de Kadiogo in an African Champions League preliminary round first leg encounter.
The game will be played at the Stade de Yamoussoukro after Africa’s governing body of football rejected the home venue of the Burkinabe champions for the encounter.
The return fixture would be played at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi next weekend where Kotoko, will look to advance to the next stage of the competition.
With the 2022/23 betPawa Ghana Premier League, (GPL) starting this weekend, Asante Kotoko will not be in action as their game with Nsoatreman FC has been postponed to make way for their African campaign.
