Social Media Users could not go silent upon hearing the kind gesture extended to one hawker by the ever pretty ace broadcaster, Bridget Otoo.
The ace broadcaster, Bridget Otoo, who is currently the face behind Metro Tv’s News chronicled on her Facebook page, a wonderful story about one hawker who turned out to be her “Saviour” as far as she is concerned on that faithful day.
Apparently, the newscaster had been in town for her usual rounds. And to her dismay, she had ran out of cash.
Out of nowhere, Mrs. Otoo has suddenly felt thirstier than anything.
As mentioned earlier, she touched her purse to see if she could find any money to buy water. As hapless as her head could be, she was as pennless as the mouth in the church, literally.
As the ace broadcaster moved back and forth in her attempt to find someone who could be kind enough to lend her the water so that she could pay later, none appeared to come to her aid.
Unfortunately for her (Bridget), fatigue set in and she began to feel dissy as dehydration became the other of the day as far as her body was concerned.
Fortunately, out of nowhere, one hawker crossed her with her water balanced on her head, Mrs Otoo received a bottle of water from the said hawker and tried to pay her with MOMO as that was the only means to settle the water taken.
The hawker declined taking her money. But the broadcaster managed to take her number in order to thank her the next day.
Upon enquiring from the said hawker, she seemed to be an SHS drop-out.
Mrs. Otoo felt sad for the girl and have decided to help her out.
This kind gesture has won many Ghanaian Facebook users heart and out of gratitude on behalf of the girl (hawker), many have poured a heartwarming messages to thank Mrs. Otoo.
