Psalms 92:10 But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.
The annointing oil sets you apart for Holy service. It is a symbol of the Holy Spirit and consecration. Moses annointed Aaron and his sons to serve him specially.
In ancient times God poured oil upon the head of His priests to mark them to be a people who would serve Him in various capacities.
We are a royal priesthood. God wants to use us for His Kingdom purposes but we must first be sanctified and empowered by the Holy Spirit. It is time to embrace our priestly identity and dedicate our lives to living solely to please God by allowing ourselves to be useful in his Hands. Whatever your calling may be, God desires greatly to annoint you if you will come to him acknowledging that he is the one who gave you the assignment and is well able to enable you accomplish the heavenly task.Â
It’s prayer time! God hearkens to the prayer of the righteous.
Heavenly Father thank you for showing me mercy to include me in your army of servants. Oh Lord annoint me with fresh oil. I want to ran the race to the end. I must fulfill my calling oh Lord. Empower me by your Spirit today in the name of Jesus. AMEN
