The founder and leader of Alabaster International Ministry, Prophet Kofi Oduro has sent a bold message to all churches in the country.
Speaking to his church members on the topic; ‘Planning’, Dr. Kofi Oduro made it clear that 60% of churches in the country will collapse if their head pastor or founder passes away. According to him, such churches have failed to plan for the future. He added that the founders of these churches think that they are ‘immortal’ and for that matter they have failed to give the proper training to individuals who will succeed them when they pass away.
According to him, it is a prophetic message from God. He is therefore urging all church leaders to find successors so that the word of God will continue to be with the people even if the founder is not around.
“Every pastor needs a succession plan. If I fall dead right now, who will take over this church. There should be a plan. So we should not be here talking about Heaven only because when we go, who will take care of the rest. I’m going to say something and this is a very serious statement. Many churches will collapse when their pastors die. I can boldly say that over 60% of churches now will be history when their pastors die because there is no plan” he said.
Aside this Prophet Oduro sent similar message to government. According to him, all governments in the history of the country have failed to give the country a better plan. For this reason, things are done in the country without having any one to blame or praise. He added that the country can be compared to a church without a plan. It always collapses because all plans are just temporary. He also urged government to do the needful.
