Wiz Maleek has been featured by Ghana Live as their Unsung Act Of The Week.
Known by his stage name Wiz Maleek, Mahama Malik is an Afrobeat/Hiplife artiste from the Upper West Region of Ghana. He began music at a tender age when he used to mime hip-pop star Lil Wayne’s songs which earned him the nickname WIZZY.Professionally, Wiz Maleek started doing music in 2014 after he was able to compose a couple of popular songs in his home region.
He has several awards to his credit including Artiste Of The Year and Sanitation Song Of The Year in 2018 (PRUMAS). He won the Artist Of The Year Again in 2019 which made him the first artist to have held the title for two consecutive years in a row in the region. He has a new song doing well out there dubbed “System”, available on all streaming sites.
Unsung Artiste Of The Week is one of the several mundane slots curated by the frontline workers of Ghana Live to project talents who are doing very well in their respective regions but are not being heard of.
