According to media reports, two excavators that were in the Western Regional Police Command’s custody at Ellembelle have vanished. The Western Regional Police Command has denied these claims.
According to the Police, neither the District Chief Executive (DCE) of Ellembelle, Mr. Kwasi Bonzo, nor any other member of the assembly handed them any excavators.
Therefore, the statement urged the people to dismiss the publication and treat it with the disrespect it deserved.
The DCE, his personal assistant, and another person are all being looked into in relation to the allegedly missing excavators, in the meantime.
“We wish to reassure the public that anyone implicated in the course of the investigation will be taken through the due process of the law,” the statement continued.
Victor Adusah-Poku is the Regional Commander and he is deputized by DCOP Mr. Arthur Osei-Akoto.
