Enviable Records Of Black Galaxies That Inspire Them To Beat Nigeria And Qualify Today

Black Galaxies of Ghana will be taking on Super Eagles B of Nigeria this afternoon. The return leg of Chan qualifier will decide which side books a ticket for 2023 Chan Tournament in Algeria. Ahead of the game in Abuja, coach Annor Walker and his lads have an enviable record that could play advantage for them.

The Black Galaxies of Ghana have played five games, winning four and losing a game. They have scored seven goals and conceded two goals.

Black Galaxies played Benin and beat them in both home and away. They scored three goals against Benin at the Cape Coast Stadium, as Mohammed Alhassan, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Gladson Awako got all goal for Ghana. The reverse leg in Cotonou saw Daniel Afriyie Barnieh scoring the only goal for Black Galaxies.

They later played in an international friendly against Qatar in Austria and lost 2:1 as Daniel Afriyie Barnieh reduced the deficit for Black Galaxies.

Against Nigeria at the Cape Coast Stadium last Sunday, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Suraj Seidu fetched two goals for Ghana.

Today’s game in Abuja promises to give everything needed in asssociatin football.
