Feature: Accra Hearts Of Oak Head Coach And Assistants Cannot Fail In 2022/23 Season

Accra Hearts Of Oak are preparing steadily for the upcoming football season in Ghana. The rainbow club is scheduled to part take in Ghana Premier League, CAF Confederation Cup and FA Cup.

While looking ahead to a successful season, the club has brought on board some additions which got the approval of head coach Samuel Boadu. Those players were acquired to fill some key positions in the club, as some players who filled those sensitive positions last season have exited the scene.

The head coach and the entire technical bench cannot live below expectations this season. Unlike last year when the club did not get ample time to prepare and make further signing, the story looks far different this year.

New players were signed before the shut of the domestic transfer window on August 22, 2022. The head coach and his henchmen have enjoyed full concentration in relation to blending both old and new players.

As a measure to pull off telepathy among players, Accra Hearts of Oak have been playing some lower tier sides at the expense of engaging in GHALCA Top Six Tournament which came to a closure few days ago.

The Accra-based club will be playing their first off-season game against a Premier League side in Bibiani Gold Stars this weekend. Even before engaging their counterparts, they have pitched camp in Ashanti Region as they look to have a good start to the season, with their opening game coming up against Aduana Stars in Dormaa Ahenkro.

Having been afforded the opportunity to get new signings via strategic transfers, coupled with sufficient time for preseason, the technical team could only offer a better outcome by competing for glory in the imminent season which kicks off on September 9, 2022.

Same competitive performance would be required of them in the CAF inter club competition as they have been handed a walk over in the first preliminary stage.
