Asante Kotoko announce itinerary for CAF Champions League duel with Burkina Faso champions RC Kadiog

Ghana Premier League, (GPL) champions Asante Kotoko has announced their itinerary ahead of their African Champions League game with Rail Club de Kadiogo of Burkina Faso.

This preliminary round first leg encounter, will be played at the Stade de Yamoussoukro in the Ivory Coast next week Friday.

And ahead of the duel, Asante Kotoko has made known their plans for the journey as they hope to do well in this season’s competition.

The Porcupines who arrived from Sudan on Thursday after their pre-season tour of the North African country, will continue to train in Accra to shape up for the journey.

Coach Seydou Zerbo will take the players through their paces to prepare them for the game where they will look for a good result to take into the return fixture in Kumasi the week after.

According to the program released by Asante Kotoko, the team will depart Ghana by air for the game on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 to Abidjan and, travel by road to Yamoussoukro for the game on Friday.

The game will be handled by Togolese officials Yelebodom Gado Mawabwe, Jonathan Ahonto Koffi, Ourotou Agba and Komlanvi Aklassou with Germain Didier Simplice as the match commissioner.

The return fixture will be played at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi Sunday, September 18, 2022 where Asante Kotoko will hope to advance to the next stage of the competition.
