Afia Pokuaa, a media personality with Okay FM in Accra and better known as Vim Lady, has attacked the government’s New Patriotic Party (NPP) over the ongoing economic crisis that has made life difficult and intolerable for many Ghanaians.
According to her, the NPP might not even receive 10% of the vote in the general elections in 2024. You would pay dearly in the 2024 elections, she said on her “Egyasogyaso” show on Hello FM on Monday, July 18, which Modernghana News was able to catch. You only have two more years.
If you do not make an effort to preserve your reputation in the two years ahead, issues may arise in this nation, and you may not receive 10% of the votes. The outspoken journalist reiterated the repeated demand that Ken Ofori-Atta, the Finance Minister, be fired.
She urged the President to follow sensible advice and fire the Finance Minister for repeatedly insisting that Ghana will never seek assistance from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
“People are complaining. And the reports I am receiving accurately reflect the situation on the ground. Listen to people. For the sake of us all, Nana Addo, sack Ken Ofori Atta,” Afia Pokuaa said.
