Premier League side Tottenham Hotspurs are set to sign Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech in a deal that could be worth up to 21 million pounds.
The player was said to be considering a move to Ajax after the sale of Antony but the Dutch club refused to honour their part of the deal as they believed the price tag was a bit high.
With the transfer window just a few hours to close, Ziyech and Tottenham are close to finding an agreement that would see the player move to the North London club. The player has just started 1 game for Chelsea this season and is considering leaving the club after limited game time and being played in unfavoured positions.
The Moroccan international retired from international football earlier this year although sources have claimed that he could make his way back into the team ahead of the world cup in Qatar later this year.
Chelsea will only sanction a move if they are able to get replacements for the player.
