Scandal. Former Deputy Director paid unearned salary GHS36,462.00 in the Trade Ministry

After the Auditor’s General report was released some few days, it came to the light the Finance Ministry had accounts which had no original Staff ID’s. In fact, a sum of GHS 1.1billion was deposited into these Ghost names accounts . Thus, unearned salary. They go by names;

Allotey Enamon James who had Ghs206,433.00, Kwaye Nana Yaw Aseidu who also had GHS535738.00 and Adam Habibu GHS 370724.16.

Adam Habibu was found to be an NPP Paliamentary Candidate over the years. Nevertheless, he presented a Ghost name in the Ministry of Finance with receivable accounts.

Well, Another scandal shows it’s head the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

According to reports there was an unpaid balance of staff loan suming up to GHS 34,9296,69 hasn’t been cleared since 2019.

Secondly, The Authorities granted loans to an unregistered companies and individuals to the tune of GHS 907,742.39 in contravention of the Export loan policy.

A former Deputy Director named Mr. Kwadwo Adubofour was paid an unearned salary of GHS 36,462 for a period of 10months. Such heartbreaking
