Premier League Week 5 Updates: Table Rank; Top 5 Goal Scorers & Assists Charts – Liverpool 5th

The first Premier League (PL) mid-week fixtures of the season saw nine matches come to light as Leicester City and Manchester United are yet to lock horns on Thursday at the King Power Stadium, here is the latest updates.

Extended their unbeaten run on 19th placed Aston Villa from home courtesy of Gabriel Martinelli’s re-establishment, Arsenal are still on the pile of the table with 15 points -the only side to have won their first 5 games this season.

After thrashing Nottingham Forest in six goals thriller, Manchester City are on the “Gunners” tail with 2 points behind, while Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton finalized the top four with 11 and 10-points respectively as both sides failed to clock maximum points.

Magical substitute Fabio Carvalho placed Liverpool an edge over Newcastle United at home, the “Reds” have climbed up to the 5th stand with 8 points levelled with Leeds United and Fulham respectively.

7 accrued points after five games – Southampton and Chelsea are positioned in the 8 and 9th places while Brentford finalised the mid-table with 6 points levelled with Newcastle United and Manchester United.

The Top 5 Scorers And Assists Chart

On hat-trick momentum, Erling Haaland leads the goal chart with 9 – 4 in a gap between Aleksandar Mitrovic who net his fifth against Arsenal, Harry Kane levelled with Rodrigo and Wilfried Zaha– who clocked his fourth against Brentford this week.

Assists chart – Kevin De Bruyne, Roberto Firmino, Gabriel Jesus, Phil Foden and Jack Harrison levelled on 3 each.
