Brilliant Point By Ablakwa On National Cathedral Comes To Pass As He Issues Another Revelatory Twist

The brilliant North Tongu lawmaker has been one of the many personalities on the tall list of Ghanaians who have reacted to this move and in his view, it is not the best decision considering the economic hardship in the country as we speak.

Akudzeto Ablakwa uttered out the need to suspend the building of the national cathedral amidst a towering weight resting on the Ghanaian economy.

He questioned why the government will make such a move when personnel of the National Service Scheme, the Nation Builders Corps as well as other Ghana workers have not received salaries and allowances for several months.

He posted a vindictive message on his official Facebook wall as he pointed out that the National Cathedral Secretariat has been compelled to confirm what he put out as far back as June 9, that the cathedral project has been suspended by the contractors due to lack of payment.

He also stated that despite the suspension on the 14th of March, 2022, evidence shows illegal withdrawals continued on the 31st of March, 2022 without the contractors returning to the site.

He concluded that meanwhile, the lead contractor Rizanni de Eccher S.p.A. no longer features Ghana’s National Cathedral on the list of global projects published on their website. We need full accountability now.

The North Tongu lawmaker has made a brilliant statement on accountability, which I’m sure every Ghanaian will love to see transparent accountability on all transactions linked to the National Cathedral.
