Former Asante Kotoko Kwame Bonsu, 2 other Ghanaians taste defeat in final game of Egyptian season

Ex-Asante Kotoko Kwame Bonsu was sent off on the final day of the Egyptian football season as his club Ceramica Cleopatra lost today.

Bonsu, was sent off in the 66th minute in their 4-0 away loss to record African Champions League winners, Al Ahly on Tuesday as the season closed in the North African country.

Kwame Bonsu was rated 5.1 as he climbed off the bench to feature in this encounter to close the campaign with a defeat. 

Ceramica Cleopatra, completed the season on with 37 points after 34 matches with Kwame Bonsu making 22 appearances out of the 34 league matches played by his side.

Two other Ghanaians, Evans Mensah and Winful Cobbina, were not part of the match day squad for Ceramica Cleopatra as they completed their league season.

The Ghanaian trio, will hope for better fortune next season as they continue with their exploits outside the shores of Ghana; developing their talents to greater heights.
