Midday news on Angel Tv presented by two of their best anchors revealed the sad story of an accident that occurred in Accra involving an articulator truck and motorbike.
The articulator truck driver is believed to have had a break failure and he had no choice but to crash into the wall of the Ghana Standard Authority Building.
According to Eugene Osei, the Angel News correspondent, the articulator driver was driving from Medina to Legon. Upon getting to Ogbonglo, the unfortunate happened when he lost control of the steering as a result of brake failure. He had no alternative than to mount the pavement and hit the wall of the edifice.
Sadly, a commercial motorcycle rider popularly known as ‘Okada’ who had avoided the road was carrying a passenger and it collided with the articulator on the pavement. The rider is said to be in critical condition with one of his legs amputated whereas the passenger who went under the vehicle is confirmed dead.
The reporter concluded by saying that the hospital is waiting for the family members of the rider to sign some documents.
