Kwame Fordjour, also known as Dr UN, is one of the most popular faces in the country’s entertainment industry. He rose to prominence when he dubbed his awards ceremony as the 7th Global Awards ceremony and invited dignitaries to the event.
It is surprising how Dr UN organised awards to honour top politicians, musicians, vice-chancellors and TV personalities.
Dr UN is remembered for how he gave out plaques, in various forms, to awardees. Whilst some awardees received carved horses, others received trophies amongst others.
In his Dr UN’s words, no one decides what I give as an award to them. “I give what I believe is deserving. I gave an award in the form of the water bottle to Sarkodie because water is life and his music gives life to his fans and so that award was to recognise his efforts”.
In fact, on TV3’s Delay show, Dr UN made several revelations about himself to host Deloris Frimpong Manso.
He rebutted allegations that he was a “con artist” and recounted how he received his education from first degree through Masters’s and Doctorate in Philosophy degrees.
Even though the presenter also known as Delay did not believe him, he insisted that all that he said during the interview remained the truth.
TV3 Ghana has asked Ghanaians on its social media platform if they enjoyed Delay’s interview with Dr UN. Many Ghanaians have provided interesting responses on how they enjoyed the interview.
