Over the weekend, Former President John Dramani Mahama had a talk at the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Lawyers Conference. At the Conference, the former president criticized the Judicial Service of Ghana. He called the current supreme court judges as “Unanimous FC” and boldly stated that only a new Chief Justice can fixed the ‘broken image’ of the judiciary.
After the comment of John Mahama started trending on social media, a lot of prominent people in the New Patriotic Party have come out to chastised and condemned his comment. Lawyer Maurice Ampaw and Lawyer Adom Appiah have all reacted on the comment of Ex President John Dramani Mahama.
The latest person to add is voice is former Deputy General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP), Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen. He has also condemned the comment of John Dramani Mahama.
Speaking on Wontumi TV, Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen stated that John Mahama calling the Supreme Court Judges “Unanimous FC” is unnecessary and very harsh.
He advised Former President John Dramani Mahama to watch his and his words because it will come back to “hunt” in one day.
