The former Member of Parliament for Akwatia constituency, Honorable Baba Jamal has sent a bold message to the minister for Local Government and Rural Development, Honorable Dan Botwe for saying that the NDC has no alternative in terms of policy making.
It all started when Dan Botwe revealed on Okay FM this morning that the NDC has no option or alternative to the current hardships in the economy. He added that the NDC always criticise the government but they always fail to bring up their own alternatives to the things they are criticizing.
“When was the last time you heard NDC talking about alternatives. From 2017 to date. Have you heard them say that this is what we will do on this sector. They don’t have policy alternative” he said.
He also revealed that the NPP has proved that they always have better polices for the economy unlike the NDC government.
After making this comment, Baba Jamal, former MP for Akwatia also made a call interview on Okay FM to reply what Dan Botwe said. According to him, what Dan Botwe said is false. He explained and revealed that the best place to find NDC’s alternatives is to go to their manifesto. He added that NDC has a tall list of alternatives and better policies in their manifesto which can help this administration.
“I’m very Surprised With All The Experiences of Dan Botwe, he says NDC has no Alternative. He Should Go Read The NDC Manifesto. So what alternative does he want or expect from the NDC. One of the alternative is that when the NPP said they will do free SHS, we said we will do it gradual. The manifesto is the base document that evey political party will use when they win power” he said.
