First National Vice Chairman of the National Democratic Congress(NDC) Sofo Awudu Azorka has uncovered that individuals from the longest-existing vigilante bunches in Ghana, the Aorka Boys have all developed into men.
He uncovered on Tamale-based Radio Tamale checked by MyNewsGh.com that he has subsequently outdoored another name which is ‘Azorka Friends’.
“My young men are there yet they are no longer young men except for men with spouses and kids. You can never again call them young men yet men. I would now really like to call them Azorka Friends since we are all age mates”, he revealed.
Azorka anyway declined to remark on whether the gathering has digressed from its unique center order being famous for going after certain figures inside the NDC they contradicted.
The Azorka Boys was framed by Sofo Awudu Azorka in 2006.
In 2019, Member of Parliament(MP) for Ningo-Prampram Sam George portrayed the gathering as a simple Community-Based Organization while showing up at the Justice Emile Short Commission that researched the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-political race viciousness.
To support his point further in his accommodation, Sam George said:” I saw the charging of a borehole project by the Azorka young men that had been done in light of local area commitment around there.”
He added:” So for me I’ll not call them a vigilante bunch.”
In the mean time, the NDC National Executive before the 2016 surveys, was accounted for to have said “I need to put on record that Azorka Boys is a focused gathering whose premium is to ensure that the Great NDC premium is safeguarded consistently regardless of the circumstance. We have shown the administration of our Party what we are comprised of both in power and in resistance. Our reliability to the incomparable NDC is obvious.”
