Fixthecountry Conveynor Oliver Barker-Vormawor has announced his intention of mobilizing 48 young people across all regions to present petition to the government of Ghana. He has stated that they will demand a meeting with President Akufo-Addo during the presentation of their petition.
In a post shared on his official Facebook page on Sunday, 28th August 2022, he wrote;
“The time to bring the Young people of this country into decision making about their own future is today.Â
We are putting together a group of 48 young people, to go and present present a petition to the President over the conditions of young people in this country. We will in that petition demand a meeting with our President.”
Oliver Barker also announced that he and his group need three people from each of the 16 regions of Ghana. He asked people interested to submit their details and also confirm that they are prepared to travel down to Accra to present the petition to the President.Â

He also announced that they intended to present the petition on 21st September at the Flagstaff House. Oliver encouraged more Females to apply and be part of the 48 to present the petition.
