Special Forces Second In Command Who Fought With Doumbouya Detained For A Year:His Wife Gave Birth

An African axiom says “Between true Friends even water drunk together is sweet enough” and the spirits of camaraderie that existed between the Commander of the Guinean special forces Doumbouya and his deputy, Ali Camara was out of common.

None would have thought or predicted that the coup maker would be out of touch with his closest pal who fought with him alongside other members of the elite military unit in ousting the octogenarian President Alpha Conde from power.

The coup was planned and executed perfectly due to the selfless nature of these soldiers who had an unflinching allegiance to the brotherhood and strong love for their motherland, Guinea.

In any military victory, the spoils of war are shared among soldiers and that is exactly what was supposed to have happened. However, the second in command of the special forces, Ali Camara was accused of stealing some monies from the Presidential palace during the coup.

It has been a year since he was kept under detention and the junta has shown no sign of releasing him. The lawyer and family of the soldier are kept in the dark about his whereabouts. Sadly, his wife delivered a baby girl some weeks ago.

Is Doumbouya afraid of his shadows or fears what this gentleman might do to him? Your comments and views are welcomed.
