Sensational Upper East-based female vocalist, born Portia Dogbe but known in as Onli Mc is set to release a joint track with one of the few versatile acts from the Upper East, Fasetwo. The track dubbed “Yen Da” is believed to be the first track from the camp of the Naughty Girls Army boss this year.
She introduced her debut EP back in August 2021. This was a 5 track EP with the likes of Alapta Wan, Teflon Flex, Klasik among others being featured on it.
“Yen Da” is a phrase from the Twi language which translates as “we ain’t sleeping” or “We won’t sleep”. It is a motivational and inspirational piece that captures the emotions of Onli MC herself as she aims towards defying all the obstacles on her way to success.
This she recruits the melodious singer Fasetwo who can turn out to be a rapper as well to help her rejuvenate the hustling spirit of the ghetto youth amidst the recent economic turmoils which have injected hardships everywhere.
