The officer who lost his uniform was interdicted, but Captain Smart said he would be removed from that status soon. Additionally, he said, the cop has been promoted and given a new office as a result of this occurrence.
That has enraged the American Embassy employees, Captain Smart said, so they’re planning to “strain” and “stress” all immigration officials who wish to travel internationally to the United States.
Captain Smart also mentioned that he has documentation to show the immigration officers who will come to the embassy to apply for visas that the embassy has indeed prepared to do what they say they will do. A visa can be obtained, however the process may take longer than anticipated.
