Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah Pours Libation And ‘Curse’ On Tv:Calls On ‘Nananom’ To Deal With Officials

Out of frustration, people will go to the extreme in venting their anger because they have been taken for granted for far too long. A Nigerian axiom says “The gods only hear one wish at a time and nothing more” and when those who are important refuse to act, the gods are the last resort.

Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah a royal and chief of the Oyoko clan in Agona has this morning done the unexpected on live Tv by calling on ‘Nananom’ and the gods to deal drastically with certain prominent individuals in government.

The accumulated grievances of the gentleman were obvious and he lambasted top officials.

In his editorial this morning on the program “Abranaa So’, the host who wore funeral cloth gave a detailed description of Ghana’s debt stock and how a certain financial institution belonging to a politician and his cronies are making money anytime the country borrows.

As a chief who understands tradition, he poured libation to the gods and implored them to act and deal with ‘corrupt’ politicians.

The gentleman doubles as a journalist and knows the ethics of journalism don’t condone such actions during live shows, however, the pain of seeing things deteriorate compelled him to pour his heart out.
