Accra Hearts of Oak continued their pre-season exercise ahead of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season and the CAF Confederation Cup next season.
The Phobians were at their best last two seasons where they went ahead to win the domestic treble ahead of arch rivals, Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
The 21 time Ghana Premier League champions however had a horrendous performance in the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup.
They were eliminated at the final playoff stage of the CAF Champions after losing to Morocco giants, Wydad Athletic Club.
They dropped to the CAF Confederation Cup and could not perform and equally got eliminated at the final playoffs after losing to Algeria club, Jeunesse Sportive de Saoura.
Hearts of Oak were held to a 1-1 draw against second tier club, Uncle T United in a preseason exercise to shape up and the club’s social media handle read.

Hearts of Oak will return to the CAF Confederation Cup after coming from a goal down to beat Bechem United 2-1 at the Baba Yara Stadium.
