The member of parliament for South Dayi constituency in the Volta region under the ticket of the National Democratic Congress, Hon Rockson-Nelson Etse Kwami Dafeamekpor has said that he is under threat of being chased out by his constituents
Speaking on ‘Metro TV Good Morning Ghana’ programme, Dafeamekpor revealed that his people have been very angry with him for some time now despite having started some projects in the Constituency.
In reaction to the news of memory of parliament who was chased out by his constituents for not performing well, Hon Dafeamekpor revealed that most of them are under similar situation in their Constituency.
He said he had constructed more than 20 kilometres of roads in South Dayi constituency but the Constituents often have some expectations from their members of parliament which sometimes put them in touch situations.
“Look at Hon Kyei Mensah Bonsu, you think if he was the only one taking decisions towards road construction? there are technical committees who make some decisions but you the member of parliament, is held accountable. If not for some projects I’m doing in my constituency now, i would have also been in the news for being chased” he said
