Speaking in a recent interview on TV3 Network, the former UN Advisor on governance, Professor Agyemang Duah revealed that there was nothing wrong with appointing a family member into a renowned government position just like the incumbent President, Nana Akufo Addo, and the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta’s case but it always comes with its consequences amongst other related issues.

That is where my priority will be because when you’re in a position to make money, you make big decisions that affect all of us. At the same time, you’re closely connected to some institutions through which these decisions perhaps may pass on institutions that may be used in the implementation. So, if you appoint someone closely related to you, then there’s a likelihood that, perhaps you made that decision knowing too well that you will solely benefit from the profits”, the former UN Advisor on governance, Professor Agyemang Duah emphatically revealed.
