A woman named Maame Akua Beni from Oduom opened up on how her husband got married to two different women after he travelled to Portugal years ago. According to the woman, she was staying at Spintex before she got married to her husband called Ebenezer Freeman and went to stay with him at Medina.
The woman said they bought land at Spintex and built their house. After she gave birth to their child, her husband took GHC1,500 from his brother-in-law, rented out their house to another person and travelled to London. Few years later he came back to Ghana and build another apartment, he spent a few years in Ghana and travelled to Portugal in 2015.
The woman added Ebenezer convinced her to move out of their house so that he will rent out the apartment and used the money to make his documents, due to the love she had for him, she went to rent a single room to stay in it. Maame Akua again said she didn’t hear anything from her husband for one year after he travelled to Portugal. One day the man called to apologise to her that he was not working that’s why he didn’t call or send her money.
He then sent them GHC600, that’s was the last money she received from her hubby. Two years later she called to informed him that she wants to go back to their house but Ebenezer convinced her to stay at that place for another two years. Maame Akua continued that her husband didn’t send her any money again to take care of their child. The painful thing is that the husband got married two women and sent them to Portugal whilst they have not divorce.
Although the man has been to Ghana several times but he didn’t look for them. She went to where he was staying but the man ran away the moment he saw her. Maame Akua revealed that she has never slept with her husband ever since he travelled to Portugal but she has now realized that her husband is no more interested in their marriage again so she wants him to give her part of the property they made and also pay the amount of money he is owing her brothers.
