Ghanaian Journalist Kevin Ekow Taylor has reacted to the recent reports claiming that, Manhyia has reportedly ordered the shutdown of Oyerepa Radio Station following an admission from Odike.
It is believed that, Odike descended heavily on traditional leaders in the Ashanti Region for watching illegal mining to go on in the country, blaming the chiefs for being behind galamsey which is destroying lands and water bodies.
Following this, it has been reported that, Manhyia therefore ordered the shutdown of Oyerepa radio station.
Kevin Taylor reacting to this wrote on his Facebook timeline that, Manhyia is embarking on the shutdown of Oyerepa radio station based on the fact that, Odike spoke a truth adding that, he doesn’t want to believe Asantehene made this directive.
He wrote;
“Manhyia reportedly orders the shutdown of Oyerepa Radio station because Odike spoke an uncomfortable truth in their faces. Asantehene Osei Tutu II, WADR, I do not want to believe these are your directive.This better be a Joke! #focus”
