The Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has arrived at the grounds of the elections of the national executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
He arrived ahead of the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, at the Accra Sports Stadium where the elections are being held.
The ongoing National Delegates Conference is to elect national executives for the party.
The Vice President, clad in an all-white attire to match the President who was also in a white shirt on black pair of trousers was heavily flanked by his security detail and some members of the NPP.
He went round the stands to greet and acknowledge the regional delegates as they respond with euphoric appellations.
Over six thousand (6000) delegates, aspirants and high-profile dignitaries of the party have gathered at the stadium to mark this momentous event of the party.
Voting for the aspirants is scheduled to begin soon.
