Kennedy Agyapong can win the flag bearer elections just like the likes of Alan Kyeremanteng and the Vice President who are all potential carriers of the flag for the party. Whether Kennedy or Alan, the win is supposed to come to the new patriotic party. And that is what matters most.
But now that there are numerous people with different interests and all wanting to be presidents as well as flag bearers of the party, a decision could be made to avoid the possible chaos that could arise from these requests.
The Npp has not made any noticeable impressions on who the major target for the party on winning the elections is. It could be any of the candidates but for some reasons, the officials who are not supposed to take sides have refused to give any sort of hints even though other officials have been opened about it.
Kennedy Agyapong according to the rumors circulating might at a point be compelled to withdraw his interest in the race and allow Alan Kyeremanteng to take the lead or probably the Vice President.
This is also rumored to be the reason why Kennedy is not pushing too hard like what people expect from him. Kennedy has shown a side that goes all in on his projects. But his reluctance to campaign at the speed expected by most Ghanaians among other circulating stories are the reasons why these assumptions and claims are being made.
The refusal of any candidate who has shown interest to bear with the party and allow a potential face which is capable of winning the elections to lead the party will be dangerous and a hurdle for the party in achieving their aim in the coming elections. Will Kennedy ever step down to allow competitors who have been in the game for sometime to take on the mantle?
