It’s soo sad to see students from our rural areas wearing jeans trouser in sporting activities due to lack of sporting kids but the Ministry of Sports will ‘brag’ that, they’re are improving sports disciplines in the schools.
Some schools even share drinking water with cows and sheep due to lack of drinking water. Because some can’t walk long distance to get better schools, and for this reason they just stop schooling.
It is now time Government must concentrate on the schools in the rural areas. Government should not forget that, those in the rural areas even contribute tremendously than even Government officials in terms of tax payment.
Building quality Education for everyone in Ghana shouldn’t be for only those in the urban areas. This is a collective responsibility for every Ghanaian to contribute to the development of our schools.
Let’s remember the rural schools today and save the future of the country.
