President Akufo Addo’s ‘Paddy Man’ Vanished Into The Thin Air

The president of Ghana, His Excellency President Nana Akufo Addo, during his first term in Office, had a ‘bus load of people’, who were all-round available, to speak and defend him on issues concerning the presidency.

These people; just like official spoke persons, (who’s job is to speak officially to the public, for and on behalf of their boss), were are seen and heard on TV and radio stations; and even on social media, defending President Nana Addo and his government on National issues.

Whiles some of these so called ‘spoke persons’, are officially appointed to do the speaking job for the Presidency or the government,, many others are not; and only speak for the president; may-be because they are party members, or are against the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Going forward into the second term of the Nana Addo-Bawumia Government, almost all of these ‘Nana Addo’s Spokesperson, have suddenly ‘developed wings and disappeared from the presidency’.

The most notable among these Nana Addo’s ‘paddies’, or ‘defenders’ are, Honorable Kojo Oppong Nkrumah (MP for Ofoase-Ayirebi constituency and also Minister for Information); Mr. Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC (Bono Regional Chairman of the NPP), and Abdul Malik Kweku Baako Jnr. (Editor-In-Chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper).

Until recent times when living conditions got tougher in Ghana (due to Government’s failures, mismanagement and corruptions; there was not a single day passed, without these men sitting on TVs, radio station and on social media, and defending the Presidency, led by Nana Akufo Addo, no matter the situation (being good or bad).

There are normally massive stirs in Ghana and on social media platforms, whenever Kweku Baako sits on Joy TV; and on any other platforms, and boldly defended the incumbent President, President Nana Addo.

In today’s NPP Ghana, close to 7 years into Nana Addo’s second term, all these men have totally gone silence, and appears to be ‘missing in action; the reason being that; may be because the country is so hard to the extent that, there is nothing more to say; or they may have indeed realized that, the Nana Addo’s government has failed Ghanaians, and so fear to talk.
