Livingstone Etse Satekla also known as Stonebwoy has paid his respect to Emmanuel Andrew Samini popularly known as Samini Dagatti as the incoming SRC president of Ghana Institute Of Management And Public Administration (GIMPA).
Samini, being the former manager of Stonebwoy, became president-elect after a stiff election which saw him attain a landslide victory.
He garnered 307 votes, while his opponent, Theophilus Quartey, received 212 votes.
Stonebwoy revealed that although he is aware of the swearing-in ceremony happening today, August 23, at the Executive Conference Center on the main GIMPA campus, he did not plan to make an appearance.
Acknowledging the ceremony and his attendance, Stonbwoy bowed as he hailed Samini, ” saying “Osheeeee… I know about it, but I didn’t plan… My President (with a salute).”
The swearing-in ceremony held today took place at the Executive Conference Center, GIMPA main campus, Greenhill in Accra.
The inauguration will see him steer affairs of the student leadership for the 2022/2023 academic year with the assistance of his Vice president, Mabel Yawa Mensah.
Vincentia Z Opponwa was also sworn in as secretary as Ruth Yayra Agbeehia and Sandra Dobil took positions as Treasurer and Women’s Commissioner respectively.
