Our MP Isn’t Helping Us, She Has Done Only One Thing. Residents Called On Their MP For Help -detail

Health is our life, but residents of Amuman a community in the Danchira Electoral Area in the GA South Constituency of the greater Accra region sing different song with different lyrics but same understanding. 

In an interview with the assembly member of the said area Hon. Ebenezer Amoako, he emphasize that there are many things the community is lacking and therefore needed to be addressed urgently most especially their health facility.

“We lack many things in our community but most importantly is the health facility. We don’t have clinic in our area, poor road network and water system to can not be boast of. But looking at our school structure too, a lot need to be done about it but the emergency one at hand now is the health facility”  

He added that pregnant women suffer a lot during their time of labour due to the fact that, accessibility to the health facility becomes a head ach for them. And sometimes they have to ride behind motor before they get to hospitals far from them to deliver. 

“In case of any accident in the community, we find it very difficult to keep the person alive; they mostly pass away and this is the situation at hand now, because of the poor road network”. 

He therefore called on the government to address their problems urgently and pleaded on all stakeholders to go into their aid to save the salvage situation.

The opinion leaders also added that, the MP who is the person of Hon. Sophia Karena Ackuaku is not helping them at all. Because they feels she has rejected them.  

“A lot needs to be done but, our MP is a big problem. She don’t usually come here. She has done only one thing which is the door she donated to us”.
