Livingstone Etse Satekla also known as 1GAD or Stonebwoy has expressed his concerns on the recent comments made by his fellow colleague Nii Addo Quaynor popularly known as Tinny.
He addressed Tinny’s disrespect towards him in an interview saying that he not reaching out before paying off the ¢2,000 was flawed.
Stonebwoy said he felt sad after listening to Tinny because he meant well and did not make the payment in any way to disrespect him.
For he Stonebwoy, love will always lead, but he’s taken a lesson out of the experience.
Some months ago, an event promoter called out Tinny for supposedly refusing to refund GHS2,000 paid to him for a Valentine’s Day show at Worawora Afariwa Lounge, which he failed to show up.
Stonebwoy, when he heard of this during the same interview, voluntarily offered to pay his senior colleagues’ supposed debt. But, Tinny, breaking his silence in an interview on Okay FM, said he is not impressed with the entire “clout chasing”.
Tinny called Stonebwoy a fool and an idiot for publicly offering to pay off his (Tinny’s) debts on live radio.
In response to what he will do if Tinny appears during his interview today, Stonebwoy responded, “With a big hug.”
“I always carry my heart on my sleeve. There are a lot of things we will deal with differently, separately, and nicely. But ultimately, love is the ultimate. But once bitten, twice shy,” Stonebwoy continued.
He also left off a piece of cautionary advice whilst speaking in parables.
“It just means that you will view situations from hindsight. If a car knocks you down, it’s a car that will take you to the hospital.”
During the interview, Stonebwoy said he doesn’t think he will be working with rapper Tinny in the near future.
“I don’t think I would want to work with him now, truth be told. I am sorry how the press are going to turn this around.”
Although this can easily be linked with his recent issue with the ‘Makola Kwakwe’ rapper Tinny, Stonebwoy cleverly diffused the notion, saying that it is solely because he wants to focus on his projects for now.
Given this, Stonebwoy says he is currently not doing features because he released his latest banger, ‘Therapy’, not too long and is about to drop another one titled ‘Gidigba’.
“I think the reason I am not doing features, not just him [Tinny], is because it is time I focus on my next project,” said Stonebwoy.
“They [other musicians] should also realize that I am the same person who would pick up my phone, or go on Instagram and hit up someone and say ‘Hey, let’s do a joint’,” he explained.
