Ghanaian Duo – Osman Bukari And Mustapha Missed UCL But Big News Follows

The UEFA Champions League (UCL), the superior of all tournaments except for the FIFA World Cup which tends to be every player’s dream of playing – Ghanaian duo Osman Bukari and Ibrahim Mustapha who plays their trade with Serbian giants FK Crvena zvevda is understood has missed their first experience after a hard-fought loss to Israeli giants Maccabi Haifa on 5-4 aggregates.

In the final qualification round on the road to the group stage, FK Crvena zvevda could not maintain their momentum after two goals lead at the home earlier today as they were matched to draw – giving the Israeli giants the edge following a 3-2 loss in the first round of fixtures.

This means the end of the Champions League campaign for the Ghanaian duo who both featured in today’s encounter.

Bukari who made a quick recovery from an injury he sustained in the first leg was named in starting lineup until 84th when he was substituted by international mate Mustapha.

Although, the UEFA Champions League dream not realistic this season, the duo has an opportunity in the UEFA Europa League, their first experience as well – where they can sell their crafts to the World and probably earn a call-up to the National Men’s team for the upcoming FIFA World Cup.
