According to the man of God who was speaking to the correspondent in an in interview Dr Bawumia as a Vice President of the Republic does not need to struggle for any presidential ambition to become future President of the country.
The clergy noted that the country is currently under Nana Akuffo Addo and Dr Bawumia’s administration and therefore if the Vice President have any fresh ideas to build the economy in the future, it is better he should demonstrate that ideas to help develop the regime.
The man of God alleged that he don’t understand why Dr Bawumia intends to become the next President after Nana Akuffo Addo to transform the country.
And asked if Bawumia luckily got the mandate from Ghanaians in the 2024 general elections what policies would he put in place to transform the country.
The policies that have been put in place in place to run the country now like the digitization, free education, one district one family, health, among other interventional issues, he said would be the same policies that Dr Bawumia will continue.
Rev Armstrong on this note passionately appealed to the Vice President of the land to back out from his presidential ambition and help our President Nana Akuffo Addo to deliver if he have any alternative measures that it can be used to fix the challenges that are confronting the country.
The man of God conceded the fact that Dr Bawumia is a matured politician who have been using his skills to help transform the country, yet the very people who are pushing him into the Presidential hopeful race in the Npp would be the very people they will disappoint him, he alleged
Hence my humble call in a form of advise to you to resign from your decision and go with Nana Akuffo Addo to fix the economyÂ
Having admonished the Vice President, Rev David Armstrong alleged that under the Busia and Danquah tradition the Npp shares positions on first come first serve basis.
Stressing that it was in line with party’s tradition hence Nana Akuffo Addo was given the mandate during his electioneering campaign when the delegates voted against Mr Allan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng in the then Npp presidential hopefuls elections.
This is because supporters of the Npp were aware that Nana Akuffo Addo will become the next President after Kuffour.
Today the man of God said it is the turn of the Trade Minister to become the next President after Nana Akuffo Addo in 2024 based on the historical records of the Npp.
Nana Akuffo Addo and the Npp Executives ,the man of God alleged are all aware of the secret insisting that any attempt for the party to change the tradition would definitely go against the Npp, the clergy predicted.
It is the turn of Allan Cash who sounds humble, unifier, intelligent and one who have envious political track records since from Kuffour’s regime to the current administration and as such the party needs to give him the mandate. Rev Armstrong indicated.
