With the transfer of Emerson Palmieri closer, another player who has been limited with game time opportunities is Ghanaian left back, Baba Rahman.
The defender was signed in 2015 to provide cover for Chelsea but has since been on loan in the past 6 seasons. After his recent loan spell at Reading, where he played a total of 29 games for the Championship side, the defender has been offered two options for a permanent move away from Chelsea.
Reading and an unnamed Championship side have offered their services to the player who is yet to make a decision. However, should he decline both offers, Chelsea might be forced to fully terminate his contract which is said to end at the end of next season.
With the World Cup fast approaching, he would need to make a decision soon as he is expected to be one of the players called up to the Ghana National team for the competition in November.
