If Insults And Curses Kills Ex Prez John Mahama And Many Politicians Would Have Died By Now-Musician

The Chief Executive Officer of a Kumasi based Non Governmental Organization (NGO) Modern Films And Entertainment Network, Mr Elvis Jackson Etuah has observed that if it is really true that political insults and curses kills former President John Dramani Mahama among other leading political figures in the country would have died by now.

Mr Jackson Etuah made the assertion in reaction to his recent article published in the website, which has the banner, ‘Don’t Blame Nana Akuffo Addo Over Economic Crisis But Rather Blame Yourself’.

Mr Etuah said the article focused to advise Ghanaians to stop blaming Nana Akuffo Addo over the crisis the country currently finds itself.

The article went on that instead of blaming the President, Ghanaians should also rather examine themselves on whether they are playing their roles as responsible citizens to help fix the nation with the emergence of the covid-19, Russia and Ukraine war.

Jackson affectionately called Papa Jay by his sympathisers told the correspondent that he was taken aback to read on how number of readers through their comments took him on.

But he said nothing pushed him to regret about sharing his political opinion with regards to the insults and unprintable words heaped against him.

I stand for the truth and nothing more, the reggae artiste pointed out.

He underscored that if political insults and curses kills the former President, John Dramani Mahama among other leading politicians in the country would have died by now.

He said for several years a section of Ghanaians have allegedly insulted, cursed and attacked former President with the aim at making him unpopular or perhaps allegedly after his death but the gentleman is still strong and alive.

The same alleged insults have been extended to the sitting President Nana Akuffo Addo and his government.

Mr Etuah stressed that inspite of the insults Nana Akuffo Addo and his hardworking team are unshakably still working for Ghana whilst their attackers gain nothing from their conduct.

On the occasion Mr Jackson Etuah stressed the need for Ghanaians to face the reality, speak the truth and give praises to where praises deserve and condemn where necessary.

The reggae musician expressed regret that because of politics indiscipline has become the order of the day as everyone, even the underaged can just wake up and insult the elderly persons and go scot free in the name of democracy.

Mr Etuah alleged that most of the citizens who use politics as a cover to insult past and sitting Presidents asides politicians are either Christians or Muslims who are seen in the churches and mosques on every Sundays and Fridays on a mission of worshipping God.

Adding that it is now time, and it is better we should give respect to the people in authority especially the Presidents because their positions have the consent of God as it is written in the books of the Bible and Quoran.

Mr Etuah on this note advised Ghanaians to promote unity, peace and put behind them, politics of insults that tend to create tension in the society.

As Ghanaians it is our collective mandate to cooperate or rally behind government policies to archive positive results for our own benefit, Mr Jackson Elvis Etuah concluded.
