The Upper East region representative of the 2022 Ghana Most Beautiful, Anaba has been subjected to excruciating criticisms by aggrieved natives following her eviction.
This week’s show of the beauty pageant, as tasked, saw the contestants entertainment the judges and audience on GMB impact and Tv3’s 25 years of service to Ghana and Africa.
Anaba welcomed Upper East’s Queen Poka of GMB 2013 as they exchanged pleasantries in their local dialect. The two discussed the way forward to joining forces through the platform to empower women.
Though Anaba did her best on stage, her best was not enough to convince the judges not to evict her.
Anaba was evicted with Bono East Region’s Takyiwaa who mounted the stage with her GMB predecessor, Bono East’s Queen Konadu from 2013. She shared her experience from her auditions to moving into the house. She recounted to Takyiwaa how she nearly gave up early on in the competition, saved by the encouraging words of Nana Kwaku Duah Prempeh. At the end of the competition, she emerged as Queen Konadu after bagging the ultimate crown.
Anaba’s eviction from the pageantry has come with a lot of questions from aggrieved concerned natives of the region.
The popular question that almost everyone poses is the criteria for selecting a representative and how she maneuvered her way through the audition to the house and others suggesting that she bribed her way to it considering the performance she displayed.
