The third week of the Bundesliga wrapped on a high note between VfL Bochum and Bayern Munich, here is the Team of the Week.
The highest scoring XI according to sofascore statistics, Bayern Munich lead the way with six players and also picking the best player and manager honours – Kingsley Coman and Julian Nagelsmann.
In the goal post is Manuel Neuer who emerged as the best shot-stopper this week. He made the most saves (7), kept a clean sheet and had a rating of 8.7 more than any other on his turf.
Defensive forces – Matthijs de Ligt, Willi Orban and Ramy Bensebaini were named this week. Ligt and Orban were both on the score sheet for their respective clubs and Bensebaini, a top-notch star in Monchengladbach’s defence as they sealed off with a narrow win against Hertha BSC.
Midfield pack of five players – the best player of the week Kingsley Coman pairs teammates Leroy Sane and Joshua Kimmich in midfield along with Hoffenheim star Andrej Kramaric, who scored and assisted against Leverkusen and Schalke 04 star Alex Kral.
Coman scored and assisted twice with a rating of 9.3, while teammates Kimmich and Sane registered an assist and a goal respectively. Kral who stood in the midfield against Wolfsburg was very stunning- made more tackles (6) than any other player this week.
Hopped on a brace, to sum up, his goals to three in 3 games, Sadio Mane leads the team with Union Berlin striker Jordan Siebatcheu, who scored and assisted against RB Leipzig in triumph home victory on 2-1 score-line.
